Michael Frank has been an editor and freelancer since the age when print died and then didn’t and he’s danced between pixels and dead trees for outlets like Coolhunting, Forbes, Consumer Reports, Esquire, the Wall Street Journal, Outside, Adventure Journal and the almighty Gear Patrol. He’s an occasional adjunct professor of journalism as well, at SUNY New Paltz in New York’s Hudson Valley. He has a life, sort of, too, riding anything on two wheels, from mountain bikes to motorcycles and trades those for skis whenever the Gods grace this planet with snow.
