Meta recently unveiled a pretty comprehensive look into how its AI systems determine what shows up on your Facebook and Instagram feed. The company released 22 card systems that explain how its AI systems rank content for Reels, Stories and Feed. Each of these cards explains how a different aspect of Meta’s platform works. It also outlined how the system weighs different input signals on each post, to rank posts based on your likelihood to find them relevant or valuable. Meanwhile, in another post, Meta’s President of Global Affairs listed the tools that users can harness to further personalize their experience.
