What is the Aston Martin Valour?
Aston Martin
The Aston Martin Valour is a front-engined sports car. It uses a 5.2-liter V12 engine to pump out 705 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. It shifts via a bespoke 6-speed manual transmission, which can be had with a machined aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber or walnut gear knob.
The Aston Martin Valour's looks are inspired by "the Muncher"
Aston Martin
Aston Martin describes the Valour as "an old-school brute." And they took styling inspiration from one of the old-school brutes in their racing lineage, the V8 RHAM/1, aka "the Muncher," that ran to a third-place class finish at Le Mans in 1977. It was a 1970 DBS V8 heavily modified by Aston Martin dealer Robert Hamilton (hence the RH).
Can you customize the Aston Martin Valour?
Aston Martin
You bet. Essentially, Aston Martin will do whatever you're willing to pay for. Buyers can customize the interior, which Aston Martin shows off in a very Aston Martin combo of tweed and carbon fiber. Buyers can also create their own livery with 21 different paint colors, hand-painted stripes and graphics. And the Q by Aston Martin service can go above and beyond options available to typical limited-run Aston Martin customers.
The Aston Martin Valour is a very limited run
Aston Martin
Aston Martin plans to build 110 Valours — a nod to the brand's 110-year anniversary being celebrated this year. Production will start in Q3 of 2023, with deliveries beginning in Q4.
How much does the Aston Martin Valour cost?
Aston Martin
Aston Martin didn't mention Valour pricing. But we can presume that if that's a concern, you're probably not in the market for one. Aston Martin chairman Lawrence Stroll has noted the brand's plans to not sell any production cars under $200,000. And a bespoke, limited-run Aston Martin will set you back a lot more than that.
